Jay Seidel, DPM


Dr. Seidel is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three year surgical residency in Harrisburg, PA, where he served as Chief Resident.

During that time Dr. Seidel received advanced training in Reconstructive Surgery, Traumatology, & Arthroscopy of the Foot & Ankle. He also obtained additional certifications in micro-vascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and Limb Deformity Reconstruction at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics.

Dr. Seidel is published in multiple peer-reviewed medical and surgical Journals. He has consulted with Medical Equipment Manufacturers, and helped design surgical instrumentation and medical devices both in the United States and Europe.

Dr. Seidel joined Hamilton Foot Care in August 2014, and also operates The Spa @ Hamilton Foot Care, which provides diabetic-safe foot spa treatments.

Lien T. Van DPM, MS


Dr. Van is a graduate of the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three year surgical residency in Grand Blanc, MI, where she served as Chief Resident.

During that time Dr. Van received advanced training in Reconstructive Surgery, Dermatology, & Arthroscopy of the Foot & Ankle.

Dr. Van has lectured at multiple conferences and presented in a variety of venues.

Dr. Van joined Hamilton Foot Care in August 2018.

Sara Roman, DPM

Dr. Roman is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three year surgical residency at UPMC in Harrisburg, PA, where she served as Chief Resident. During that time Dr. Roman received advanced training in Reconstructive Surgery, Traumatology, & Arthroscopy of the Foot & Ankle. She also obtained an additional certification in microvascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Throughout residency, Dr. Roman also served as a volunteer in a recurring community outreach clinic program called Street Feet that offered free foot exams and basic care to the local homeless population in addition to distributing shoes, socks, and other basic necessities.

Dr. Roman joined Hamilton Foot Care in August 2025.

Phillip Cohen, DPM

Dr. Cohen is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine). He worked as an operating room technician at Fallston General Hospital (now Upper Chesapeake Medical Center) before commencing his surgical residency at Liberty Medical Center. Dr Cohen completed a podiatric fellowship in foot surgery within the Division of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

Following his fellowship training, he was a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopedics throughout the University of Maryland Medical System. Dr. Cohen served on the State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners from 2013-2021 and as Board President 2016-2017 and 2018-2019.

Dr. Cohen opened the podiatry practice, Drs. Cohen and Norton, PA | Foot Center of Bel Air in 1991, and has served the Harford County community for 30+ years. He joined Hamilton Foot Care in August 2025.
